The quarter on the left is believed to be the double quarter 24 and 26 which accommodated one large family in Schumacher Strasse. The road off to the right is Edert Strasse and the first houses down that road were Nos. 12 and 10.   From Dec55 until Jan 58 No. 24-26 was occupied by Robbie Roberts of the Airfield Construction Branch and John Sutton, newly married without enough"points" to qualify for his own quarter, shared it with them for some time.   Until Oct56 Sqn Ldr Sykes lived at No 10 Edert Strasse and Sqn Ldr Skene lived in the nearest quarter No 12.    (Thanks to Barrie Knowles.)
