Meteor NF11 Night Fighter taxying out at Jever.   As a result of putting up this photograph I received the following further information from Tony Bennett: "The latest picture added shows a Meteor NF11 taking off.   I remember this very well as it happened in 1954.   The aircraft made an emergency landing having experienced a total power failure.   Bob Rudd and myself were told to have a look and see if a wire had dropped off the batteries!   Obviously it was nothing as simple as that but, after going to the Station Library and obtaining the AP for the aircraft, we located the fault and it was able to leave the next day.   (Thanks to Ron Gray.)
