Ski and Survival Course - Tony Pearce, Unknown and Ian Madelin - Jan 56.   This was the first of the Ski and Survival School Courses which were to go on for many years.   All aircrew were required to complete the course in their first tour to prepare themselves for Escape and Evasion should they be shot down in enemy territory.   It eventually stabilised with one week skiing, one week escape and evasion and finishing with a second week skiing.   (Thanks to Tony Pearce.)
