93 Sqn Linebook No. 2 - Page 12 - I suspect this is a reference to an incident when the Squadron was night flying.   Here is a quotation from the Squadron Form F540 for 6th December 1956: "A night flying programme was planned but this was curtailed after the aircraft Fg. Off. A.W.E. Johnston was flying burst a tyre on landing."   The bottom sketch is a continuation from the previous page comparing the two ex-Master Mariners on the Squadron - the tallest "Birdie" Biggs and the shortest "Goblin" Lynn.   Here "Goblin" can't find the rudder pedals!   (Thanks to RAF Museum.)
