12. Nicholas, Mick Ryan's son has been building a collection of 1/72nd scale models of all the aircraft Mick flew during his life.   Most of them are with the markings and colours of the exact aircraft.   Here are the latest two models; the first type is an Eon bungee-launched glider which were used by school CCFs (one model is with a cowling round the cockpit, the other without).   The second type is a Miles Magister in which Mick first went solo on powered aircraft whilst completing a Flying Scholarship at Rochester Airport.   Carleigh Wright's father made these three excellent models.
