If you were stationed at Jever you may remember this painting by Willy Muller hanging in the Officer's Club.   It was lost in Upjever Forest after a drunken NATO party there sometime ago.   The broken frame and ripped canvass were found by forestry workers, lying ruined in the snow the following spring.   Captain Charly Pfeifer (Luftwaffe Retired) presented Jack Waterfall with a jpeg and a print of it after the unveiling of the R3236 Memorial Stone in June 2016.   (Thanks to Jack Waterfall.)
