Digger Davidson on the Guitar who took over from Bill de Graaf after he was demobbed.   Digger is trying out the guitar Brian Walker had just bought for £18 from the NAAFI shop.   A small fortune in 1957 (£337 at Sep09 prices).   Brian had saved up for six months to buy it.   Brian kept that guitar for thirty odd years before passing it on to his sister's lad.   (Thanks to Maurice Gavan.)
