118 Sqn Spitfire - 1943.   Flown by Flt. Sgt. Joseph Hollingworth.   This photo was taken by a bomber he was escorting and given to my grandparents after he was killed.   I believe the gunner who took it was American or Canadian and was in a B-17?   He actually came to their home to give it to them, at least that is the story as I know it.   (Thanks to David Hollingworth.)
