Four days flying were used during the month for air-ground firing at Strohen
Range with favourable results.
One more pilot was converted to the Swift this month - Flight Lieutenant A.G.
Durward

through Karup, and returning the following day.
Four pilots from the F.R./P.R. Flight of the Royal Danish Air Force were attached to
the Squadron from 20th to 31st July.   They had two R.F. 84 F's and also brought
one photographic interpreter and an Engineering Officer with them.   Captain Michelson,
who is an old friend of the Squadron was in command of the detachment.
SOCIAL
A Squadron Barbecue was held on the 3rd July in the woods on the airfield.   All ranks

days of rain and many indecisions due to this.
