Vampire FB5 VV638 parked outside 4 Sqn's Hangar 1 alongside Norman Giffin's MG Saloon.   Note the unusual all silver finish on the aircraft and the unusual darker patch over the nose in front of the cockpit.  Apparently this was a special perspex panel that had been fitted for something like DME trials before it came to the Squadron.   (Thanks to Norman Giffin.)
