Norman Giffin's MG Saloon which he sold to Pete Smith, in front of 4 Sqn Vampires and Hangar 1.   Ron Gray tells me:"Pete and I had a weekend in Gronigen and were stopped by a Traffic Officer.   Pete had the one headlight on as he was on dipped lights.   In those days the nearside dipped and the offside switched off.   The Officer insisted on two lights at the front so our Dutch fellow travellers had to put up with main beams glaring at them."   (Thanks to Norman Giffin and Ron Gray.)
