Norman Giffin first off the Comet for a CFS visit.   Behind him the Jever Station Commander Gp Capt "Black" Smith welcomes OC Examining Wing CFS.   Norman can't remember the date - it must have been between Oct58 and Dec60 ("Black"'s period as Station Commander), presuming the Hunter squadrons were still active.   I cannot find a reference to a CFS visit in either 4 Sqn or 93 Sqn's F540s for this period.   Anyone able to date the visit?   (Thanks to Norman Giffin.)
