The USAF Fairchild C-119 Boxcar transports parked on the pan in front of Hanger 4.   They had brought in the 11th US Airborne Regiment which deployed to RAF Jever for Operation Brown Jug - 17Sep57.   At this time 4 sqn were deployed to Schleswig, Denmark operating under canvas for the exercise.   (Thanks to Mike Stanbrook.)
