Young Bill Simmons, son of Sergeant Bill Simmons of 4 Sqn Instrument Section, admires the Circus poster in downtown Jever.   It says 3rd and 4th - assuming these were a Saturday and Sunday, (and there is no real reason why they should be!), then in the time Bill was at Jever the only such dates were in May, Jan and Oct.   From his dress and the state of the trees it could be May 58?
