Rail Party Nominal Role which was probably for a Sylt detachment.   It is probably 1956 although the Leader of the rail party then, according to the Form 540, was Fg Off Landon, (Click to see F540.) and there was no mention of another officer.   Fg Off Johnston had only just arrived on the Squadron in April 1956, he may have led the Rail Party back as there is no mention of the return leader in the Form 540.   (Click to see.)   It will not be 1957 as Dudley Potter left in Nov56. 25th August 1956.
