Who me?   Drinking on duty?   After serving the Airmens' Christmas Lunch - 25Dec53.   Thanks to Tom Balfour for owning up!   He sent me the following:   "I confess to being the drunk in the picture outside the 93 sqn block.   The story is that some of the lads pinched my cap and as there was no way I could afford a new one I had to pay a forfeit (or two) to rescue it.   Hence the state I was in.   Until now I had never seen these photos, nor had Jean but now she knows what I got up to 54 Xmas`s ago.   Ron Gray didn`t think I`d own up, but as I`m still standing 54 years later it can`t be too bad."
