1967 AGM
1. The AGM will take place at Dirty Kicks on Saturday, 7th January
1967 at opening time.
2. The main question to be answered this year is:
"Has the big squeeze increased the fallout?"
3. It is impossible to contact all JSL qualified drinkers, so
please pass on the information about the 1967 reunion. Additionally,
tell the JSLers you know that the policy for deciding the date of the
reunion is:
That the reunion will be held on the first Saturday in the
New Year except if that Saturday is the 1st January, when it
will be held on the second Saturday in January.
4. I am off to get some sand between my cheeks for one year and will
not be able to make the arrangements for 1968 JSL AGM. How about
someone volunteering to make the arrangements for 1968, I will then
take over and undo his good work in time for the 1969 reunion. For
those members still in the service, I would like to point out that
being Hon Sec to the JSL is counted as a very important secondary
duty and absolutely no mention is made of it on F1369.
5. Whoever volunteers as secretary must:
a. Be able to attend the 1967 reunion to get an up-to-date lust
of addresses (good excuse for the wife).
b. Contact me at the address on th letter head, before 22nd
December 1966.
6. I will give the files to the Volunteer Secretary before I go to
the ME on 4 Jan 67.
7. Last year I lent my Parker pen to someone so that he could fill
in the address book - I wouldn't mind it back.
