Mess chit used to pay for drinks and food in the Officers' Mess Club which was upstairs in the Officers' Mess by this time - 24Sep59.   Chit signed by Web Master's fiancee who was not taking the system seriously enough!   A "Small Joke" was, if I remember rightly, a very large mixed grill.
