                                                             ABANDONING
1.   Reduce speed, jettison hood,          IF auto separation fails, operate over-

2.   Feet in footrests, head on rest.            Raise flap and grasp rip cord D-ring
3.   Pull blind handle                                     Push clear of seat and pull D-ring.

Hood             Closed.
                       Switch at SHUT, clutch
                            ENGAGED.    Cockpit
                            pressure on.   Temper-
                            ature as required.
Harness      Tight and locked.
Flying             Full, free and correct
    controls         movement,. Green lights
                           on, red warning light
                           out.
NOTE:-   It is possible that the retrim
                indicators will flicker white
                during taxying out and take-
                off.
