Landing fast + heavy rain on a wet runway = Into the mud - about Summer 54.   Assume it must be Venom FB.1 WK486 D, as the first D, WE281 flew into ground during practice attack on Army convoy, 2m SW Dollerup, W Germany killing the pilot.   WK486 D arrived on 118 Sqn on Fri 11Jun54 and was sent to 48 MU on Thu 28Apr55.    (Thanks to Mike Wraight.)
