Two more 'Full House' exercises were held at the beginning of the month to
decide on three pilots who would represent
No. 2 Squadron
in exercise 'Joker' with No.
79 Squadron. The three pilots chosen were
Flight Lieutenant O. Bergh
A.F.C.

Lieutenant J.R. Green
and
Flying Officer A. Newing
.
Three pilots from No. 79 Squadron arrived on 20th August, and exercise 'Joker'
took place on 21st and 22nd. The three finalists who will represent 2nd.

in exercise 'Royal Flush' were
Flight Lieutenant J.R. Green

No. 2 Squadron
),
Flight
Lieutenant N. Walpole
(No. 79 Squadron) and
Flight Lieutenant O. Bergh
(
No.
2 Squadron
). These three pilots flew down to Wildenwrath on the 25th August to start
their training for the
N.A.T.O.
exercise.
Flight Lieutenant O. Bergh

was posted to the
Squadron
from No. 79 Squadron
at the beginning of the month to take over 'B' Flight. Two other pilots,

and
Flight Lieutenant P.J. Adair
were also posted to the
Squadron
during the month from the
O.C.U.
at Chivenor.
