JEVER OCTOBER, 1958 Operations     Of all months since the Squadron received the Swift FR 5's October, 1958 produced the highest monthly flying hours.   Night flying was organised for two nights of each week and was achieved on five nights during the month.   The break down of hours and sorties was:-                                                                    Swift days                 276.05                                                                    Swift Night                  34.30                                                                    Vampire T.11 days   15.00                                                                    Vampire T.11 night     5.10      Flying Officer B. Lavender and Flying Officer J. Hugill left for repatriation to the U.K. on completion of their tour of duty with the Squadron.   As is customary they were dined out by the Squadron, to which function it was a pleasure to invite the G.L.O.'s Major McGregor and Captain Tragear, and the Intelligence Officer, Flight Lieutenant Davies.   No new pilots were posted in.      On the last day of the month, at a Mess function, Flt. Lt.
