FASSBERG 7th   6 Details flown, all of them practice battle formation.
FASSBERG 8th-11th   Easter Grant.   O.C. returned from ODIHAM.
FASSBERG 12th-15th   Four days of fine weather coupled with a considerable amount of flying.  Eleven night details were flown on the 14th.
FASSBERG 16th   The O.C. heard today that the Squadron had to be at JEVER by the 19th, i.e. in three days time.
FASSBERG 17th&18th   Packing.  Advance party left for JEVER on the 18th.
FASSBERG to JEVER 19th   The O.C., nine pilots and most of the ground crew today moved to JEVER by rail and road.   Apart from Fg. Off. HUGHES who is in charge of the rear party, the remaining pilots have been detached to 14 and 118 Squadrons for continuation flying.
JEVER 20th-22nd   These three days were spent "arriving" at JEVER.  Two pilots from WEST RAYNHAM have been attached to the Squadron for the period of conversion.  One of the two, Flt. Lt. McELHAW combined two Hunter air tests with practice demonstrations for the forthcoming visit of the Chief of the Italian Air Staff.
JEVER 23rd   This afternoon, the Chief of the Italian Air Staff accompanied by the C. in C. 2nd A.T.A.F., the A.O.C. JEVER 25th   Hopes of having our first Hunter serviceable today did not materialise.
JEVER 26th-29th   The first Hunter became available on the 26th, and by the evening of the 29th, with
serviceability alternating between one and three, all the pilots on the Squadron at
JEVER had flown their first solo.   Fg. Off. HUGHES flew in from FASSBERG on the 28th,
